My name is Ved Radhakrishnan, and I am a Doctoral Student with Trident University International (www.Trident.edu). As part of my PhD program, I am doing research on the below-mentioned topic.

Role of Forensic Accounting in Detecting Flawed Control Measures in Financial Institutions Causing Regulatory Penalties

Financial institutions are being penalized for repeated offenses and the offenses are related to data quality and failure in control structure in an organization. The aim of this research is to identify the reasons behind continuous failures and find those gaps.

Dear Participant, The following information is provided for you to decide whether you wish to participate in my research study. You should be aware that you are free to decide not to participate or to withdraw at any time. The purpose of this qualitative case study is to understand the root cause of repeated failures and hence penalties by regulatory authorities on banks. Data will be collected through one of the options (interview through phone, audio or video) or by answering a questionnaire sent to me via my email id indicated in this blog. I will be the only individual involved with data collection and the identity of the candidates will not be shared with anyone, including my university. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions about the study either before participating or during the time you are participating. I would be happy to share my findings with you after the research is completed. There are no known risks and /or discomforts associated with this study. By responding to my request to participate, you give your consent with full knowledge of the nature and purpose of this research.
